That greeting signifies that your son is preparing to embark upon a journey that we hope, will lead him into responsible manhood. 

It has been said that “the Scouting program is one of the best ways for young people to develop into leaders, develop communication skills, and build self confidence.” These are the building blocks that this generation requires to fulfill the promise for a better tomorrow; a tomorrow that they will lead.   In addition, the opportunity is presented to develop skills both physically and intellectually, participate in community service projects, and just have a “boat load” of fun.

Chartered in 1991 at New Faith Baptist Church, Boy and Cub Scout Units 120 have operated to train and develop Christian young men who are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit, equipped and prepared for responsible citizenship and leadership.  Committed to that mission, we are proud of the Eagle Scouts that have advanced through our program, and encouraged by the belief of more to come.

We offer a quality program that takes commitment from the parents and the scouts.  Our trained leadership team is anxious to receive you into our Scouting Family.  

To begin your adventure, please complete an application and return it to our Scoutmaster, Cub Master, or representative from our Scout Committee.  If you require additional information, please call (708) 720-1318 and leave a message.  We will return your call.
